The Ordinary Hair Care Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA for hair and scalp is designed to support scalp hydration and skin barrier integrity.

This formulation has a light and fluid texture that allows for easy distribution on the scalp, without sticking to the hair and weighing down the roots..

Product Objectives:
- To provide a moisturising formula for the scalp to ensure healthy skin function, resulting in healthy lengths of hair
- To offer a formula that targets the hydration of the scalp, which has been shown to experience higher levels of transepidermal moisture loss than the skin on the forehead

Product Format: Lightweight milky emulsion
Ideally suited for: Dryness / Dehydration of the scalp.

Benefits: The formulation contains ingredients that mimic the function of natural moisturising factors (NMF), hyaluronic acid (HA) and Squalane that are naturally produced within the skin. NMF and HA’s ability to bind and retain water allows for hydration of the scalp. Additionally, Squalane supplements and imparts hydration. Clinical data showed that this product improved scalp hydration after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of daily use.
